Industry: Real Estate

Press Release Summary: When sourcing building products for its latest social housing
project in Rugby, Aspects Developments chose Almura's durable, easy to install, low
maintenance Vinyl Siding.

Press Release Body: The Warwickshire development will have 42, two-bedroom
apartments, designed for modern-day living by leading architects. Craftsmen are
constructing the buildings in the classic English style, and to the highest
specifications. Aspects Developments needed a building product that would
complement this style but would still represent good value for money.

Duncan Shaw, Development Director of Aspects, decided to use Almura's Alcoa Grand
Sierra Vinyl Siding on the new homes for a variety of reasons, "I chose the Grand
Sierra siding because it is simple to install, very low maintenance, extremely
competitively priced and incredibly durable, which means it has a long lifespan,
from 50 years to a lifetime."

Alcoa Vinyl Siding is not made of wood, causing no strain on natural resources.
Plus, over half the content of vinyl is derived from common salt; an abundant and
inert natural resource. During manufacturing, almost all manufacturing waste is
recycled and re-used. It's also very lightweight, consuming low amounts of energy in
its transportation. Unlike wood and fibre cement, it never needs painting, which
also limits considerable waste and pollution.
